My communication has been lacking as of late. I have had a few life changing events over the past year and have yet to share them with all of my facebook family. So now is the time. After a couple employment changes I have happily landed at Crescent Point energy, working with a few old friends and learning the Canadian way of doing things. I am the production department and it has been a challenge, but a welcome one. I recently posted about my move closer to town. I have left my little farm house with the chickens and garden in the care of my wonderful brother who has helped me keep sane over the past year. He and his daughter Kaydie, and roommate Zach have stepped up to take care of the property. I have moved into a newer suburban house that has higher ceilings and more room for my Viking giant of a boyfriend and growing family. Jacob Cobb and I have been together for over a year, and are now expecting a little bundle of joy this December. Believe or not, I actually am pregnant. Charles James should be here by Christmas. All in all it has been a great pregnancy, I have had very little issues compared to other women that have been sharing there stories. This has been an experience that I will treasure. I had no idea how much energy it takes to grow another human, but he has been taking it easy on his old mother. Both sides of the family are excited about the new addition and I am looking forward to being a mother to my own little boy. I had my baby shower last weekend. My best friend Jane Sirbin put it together and took care of all the details. I want to thank everyone who came and hope you had as much fun as I did. I feel lucky to have such a great group of woman in my life to share this experience with. I will try to keep up communications and share lots of pictures of the family and new house sooner than later.
