My competitor friends... When you think about what you do, why you do it, and the sacrifices you are willing to make to get there...just remember at the end of the day...at that finish line...when you step on stage all that is left is you...when the crowd is done and the lights are dim...everything that you worked for has become nothing...it will all fade...if youre lucky you may become a legend...but for the most part youll be another name on a pamphlet...a lost face in the crowd. Which is why the ending is NOT the reason you do this...you do this for YOU...no one else...not to show someone up...not to prove people wrong...because at the end of the day those people wont even care. You will be left...you and only you. Do what you do for the journey...the goals...theres so much more than a plastic trophy and for those who dont compete...youll NEVER understand...and thats ok...we dont want you to...just support us...and know that we enjoy every miserable second of it. Remember make you NUMBER ONE...make your health number one...make your MENTAL number one...because its you at the end of the day...and nothing else...we make this journey alone...we step on stage alone...we may have support...family, friends, fans...but it all comes down to you...eating those 7 meals...doing those HOURS of cardio...lifting heavy weights when depleting...its YOU!! Stay healthy...stay focused...stay strong...for YOU!
