My computer is too new with programs that are too current to use many Army computer systems. Yet somehow Im supposed to easily work from home on this stuff. For example to access key record archives you need Internet Explorer 7. The one out now is Internet Explorer 11. The Army is still stuck in 2006. While Im not surprised (We had Vietnam-vintage web gear and vehicles when I joined in 2000) it still makes it hard to get work done. I think I need to requisition an old laptop that is also stuck in 2006 and use that.
