My connection with Ray Hazan, St Dunstans President: I met him in 1989 when I was a Sergeant Instructor on Light Armour Training Squadron at RAF Catterick when we hosted a driving experience day for the blind together with the RCT. I taught Ray to drive a CVRT Scorpion, firstly on the disused runway, then cross country. This was filmed for a TV programme called People hosted by Frank Bruno. We worked with and visited Middlesbrough Guide Dogs for the blind whilst Ray was being matched with a guide dog. That time left a lasting impression on me. https://youtube/watch?v=3BL2e0i2NgU
