My conversation with myself yesterday as my train was approaching Florence: Me: Holy shist! What was I thinking! I have no plans, the phones battery is dying and I have 35 euros in my pocket... Im not spontaneous! I should have gone back to Mannheim! Me: oh calm down, Im sure we can handle this! It will be an adventure. Me: adventure! What if we get mugged. .. the couple in the last train said they did in Florence! Are we even going to find the hostel?! We havent slept in 24hours!!! Me: well, Im not pointing fingers but it was you who wanted to go to the opera one last time in Berlin and not prep for travel until 2 in the morning. .. Im good at reading maps... I can draw one from the phone before it dies... we must see precious. .. I mean Florence. .. Me: Silence you two! We are lucky if we sleep in the streets of Dante and Michelangelo. Me: its too late anyway. We must deal with the problems we face. Not the possibilities of the past. It will be worth it, Im sure.
