My cow didnt get up today. I thought for sure she would. Still eating great. Gave her another shot to ease the swelling and the pain and lots more prayers. Had to run to town today cause she ate all the feed I had. I did the chores here then helped Gene fix some things. Great news David Graber, the cutter pulled in today! They got the first load in the pit by 7. They just made their paths and they will hit it hard tomorrow! Should be completely done with the silage harvest by Monday! Things are falling into place! Gene stopped and got a case of beer to take out to the guys...they work harder and better when they know there is beer at the end of the day! Fried taters are done, grill is hot and mushrooms are cut. Bottle of wine is chilled! Just waiting on Gene before I throw the steaks on the grill! Game is recording so when Gene gets in, we can watch it from the beginning. Its going to be a good night!
