My current journey part two. Good morning, the word for today is - TopicsExpress

My current journey part two. Good morning, the word for today is communicate – to share information, to reveal by clear signs. We always hear of people trying to communicate with life in outer space in the heavenlies – well, actually this is not new – God has been trying to communicate with us since the Garden of Eden! In the sanctuary as I was changing the altar colors (from the wedding white to green) I wanted to turn the Bible pages to a favorite scripture verse of mine where God is singing over us – I often refer to it in my sermons – a wonderful picture of God’s love!! So as I turned there, I felt that the Lord said, “Read more of that passage!” So I did, “Zephaniah 3: 14 Sing, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! 15 The Lord has taken away your judgments; He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; You shall see disaster no more…17 The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." The morning of the surgery, as I walked from the motel across the street from the hospital, the Lord called to my mind the Allstate Insurance jingle where the big hands are underneath us – “You are in good hands.” I laughed thinking that was a funny thing to think about! When the nursing assistant (a young man) wheeled me up to the surgery floor, he said, “You will do great, you will fully recover, remember, YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS!” I almost jumped off the cart to rejoice!! I had not told that young man about thinking that same phrase! Amazing! God also talked to me in numbers and in the meaning of the names of many of my caregivers. My “prep” surgery room was #18 – the nurses teased Michael saying that room was reserved for trouble makers – it had a door – the other rooms has curtains only! In Hebrew the letters for 10 and 8 equal Chai - meaning “life.” The actual surgical room was #3 – number of the Godhead (trinity). On the day of the surgery, I began to notice the names of those who were helping to facilitate the journey. I believe that God surrounded me with people he hand picked to send the message of His Presence!! My nurse navigator had been Kathy, whose name means “purity” and the nurse that helped me schedule the day of my surgery was Kelly, “warrior.” My surgeon was John, “Yahweh is gracious;” his PA was Kirk, “Church;” the anesthesiologist was Brian, “virtuous and strong!” Aides were Cristian and Christin – both derived from the same root word as Christ – “the anointed One," "anointing.” Another aide was Mary (the name of the mother of Jesus) – from myrrh – a gift given to Jesus from the wise men. Myrrh is an oil used in some medicines (healing) and also in many perfumes (fragrance of Christ)! One nurse was Tabatha who was the young girl that Jesus raised from the dead. Tabatha refers to the gazelle, swift and graceful and means grace! Another nurse was Ellen – a “bright light.” Coincidental happenings? Well, one might say that; but I believe many coincidences happen when God chooses to be anonymous. I am sure there was more, I wasn’t listening all the time – mully-grubbing a bit – but praise God for unconditional love – I will keep listening and noticing things that let me know of God’s Presence! “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen (1 Timothy 1:17).” Blessings for your journey!!
