My current temperature is 9, winds are light gusting to 8 mph. A look at Radar. The Lake Erie Band is starting to look healthy. There will be moderate to maybe heavy lake snow south of Buffalo, especially for the Southern Tier Counties in the warning area. these areas look to see 6-12 inches. The band will make a run close to the Buffalo metro tonight....but most likely will stay to the south of the metro area. But 4-8 inches is possible south of Buffalo. The Lake Ontario band is starting to crank. The Band is up into Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties for St. Lawrence County 4-8 inches is most likely. The band will slide into northern Lewis county in a few hours where it will stay parked until the front drives it south Wednesday mid-morning. From south of Watertown into northern Lewis County... Adams and Barnes Corners, Copenhagen, and Cartage 1-2 feet of snow will fall...with amounts of 3 feet not out of the question, under the most intense part of the band where snowfall rates of 4-6 inches per hour are possible.
