My dad got in touch today via email and asked me to post this for you all. Firstly I’d like to say thanks for this group being set up. It makes me really humbled to think that not only was this done for BC but for me as well. As many of you know I had a really tough time last year and this led to me becoming ill… I had several projects in the works but, with one thing and another they kind of fell apart. However when Jack told me about this group it encouraged me to do some digging. I had planned on doing a version of P.I.O.T. with tracks from the R.E.L. sessions. Sadly I only got a couple of the tracks done. One was an edit of Made In Heaven which ended up on the Time For Leaving single and the other was more of a “re-shaping” if you will of When A Drum Beats. The latter never made it past the sketch stage…until now. As a thank you to you all I decided to dust off my old files and have another crack at editing the song. So here I humbly present to you a taste of what never was… I think of you all fondly and, one day, I shall pick up where I left off… Until then… Stay Alive. My best wishes and warmest thanks, Lee.
