My dad had a saying that he repeatedly told me in my teen years. He would say "the only generation gap between you and me is the distance between my foot and your behind". He was a little unorthodox in his communication, but I got his message loud and clear. He instilled a work ethic in me for the long road a head and I am forever grateful to him for that. My grandpa would also come out to our farm and work in the summers, reenforcing what my dad was trying to teach me and showed me love, care and value. I am grateful to both of these men, Howard Gee and John Tomasek for molding me at an early age and teaching me the value of hard work. You are both forever in my heart...
