My dad lost his life from A.L.S back in 2007,i miss him terribly.my dad was a man who enjoyed life and meeting people,and spending time with his family but when we got the news that he had A.L.S my world fell apart knowing he might not get to meet his unborn granddaughter.It was very hard for me to stay strong when i knew there was no cure for his disease,and that right there was devastating enough,when ALS took his motor skills but it took away everything from him.The day he was called home to the lord,he was trying so hard to say he loved me but he gave it his all and i received the tragic phone call to say he had passed away 2 hrs after i saw him and to know he waited for me to visit him and say goodbye,he must of asked god for more time just to see and say his last goodbyes to me, since his passing he shows me signs that hes with me by showing me a cardinal bird,never saw the bird until the next day after he died when i was sitting on my porch looked over on the telephone wire was a red bird singing so loud like he was trying to get my attention well they say loved ones send birds to let them know they made it ok and they are with you,when i need a sign from him i ask him to show me the cardinal and so he does. My dad always loved feeding the birds so i find it a coincidence. I will always hold his love and memory very close to my heart as long as i live. They need to find a cure so this disease will not take anymore loved ones away. My dad left behind 5 grand children and many other grand children,they were everything to him,we all miss him. LOVE YOU DAD & MISS YOU EVERYDAY!!!
