My dad used to leave money for mum to get us fish and chips for our dinner.No half the money went on horses where we had to ask a grown up to put a bet on for mum so we sometimes late for school .The rest of the money went on cigs.And all the kids got was a packet of crisps and a slice of custard tart for our dinner or just a bowl of veg pkt soup which she force fed me some times .l did not like so went back to school with a empty stomach so she had her bet and cigs.O yes she was a super mum who could not cook because dad did it himself after a hard days work.Remember all of you.
