My dad was a huge fan of Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters and George Carlin. There was never a moment missed in our house when any of the three were on TV. After John Belushi died, Robin went into treatment and that inspired my dad to do the same. I am forever grateful to Robin for his courage in life and his influence. Humor is our link to survival and we lost one of the greatest connections to that part of our soul. I am profoundly sad but hopeful that there are others to fill that need.
