My dads friend Tom Langon of Harvey Cedars told my dad about LBI at work ( in Phillie) and we bought our house in SB with my uncle for 5,000. Best $5,000 ever spent. We just recently lost my brother to cancer and buried his ashes on that street. Siblings came in from NY, Hawaii, Florida, California for the event as well as many old dear friends. We had only a kyack to row our with his ashes but the SB beach patrol ( In which all of my six brothers were employed over the years) came to the rescue. No pun intended.lol They brought us a row boat ( All my brothers rowed) and we sang Allman brothers songs and delievered Steve ashes out past the sandbar to his favorite surf spot.
