My daughter Alexandra did her first internship in advertising at Ogilvy NY during her summer holidays, just before starting senior year in college. A year later, after graduation, she applied for the graduate program there. Sadly, however she didnt make it through. Despite the anger and disappointment, she did not give up and sought work opportunities still at Ogilvy - this time in London. After several rounds of interviews she was hired to join their summer internship program together with another 9 bright graduates who were all competing for just 5 positions on Ogilvy Londons prestigious 3 year Fellowship program. After 8 weeks of working extremely hard and balancing competitiveness with camaraderie, my daughter was selected to join the program.
