My daughter Alexis has been playing volleyball for over 1/2 of her life. Thousands of hours of practices, training, games and travel that included matches played all over the country and the world (US Team played in Germany-Belgium, Amsterdam and Paris France!) Throw in the strict diet, the early curfews, the missed proms and homecoming dances due to tournaments. Its provided a college scholarship and some of lifes best highs and lowest lows...but it all ends tonight. Alexis is now a college senior, and will play in her final organized-competitive game tonight. I am so proud of her commitment to the sport, her dedication and sacrifice she has made. Its been a fun ride!
