My daughter Bridget Scales was rather upset at school today. Her school was having an assembly at 10:30 this morning to honor local Veterans. Her Physics teacher refused to let his class out to attend the assembly. Bridget told him that honoring the Veterans was important to her because her father and uncle were Veterans. Her teacher told her Well today I am celebrating my mothers birthday.. How rude and dishonorable for this teacher to keep his student from honoring the local. veterans. I think a call to the principal is called for.
