My daughter Libby has asked that we be praying for Carin, a single mom with two kids (11 & 13) who is struggling with all the responsibility of a single parent household. Father, we trust that You have already charted the course for this family and You will protect them every step of the way. We are blessed to lift this mother and her children before You, trusting that You will be their portion in the days ahead. We pray for Carin who shoulders the responsibilities of her family. May she be encouraged in the knowledge that there are others standing with her, and may she fully trust that You will never leave her or forsake her. At times when she feels broken or rejected, immerse her in the grace of Jesus Christ. Heal the memories of a broken marriage relationship and help her to believe that every need will be met in You, through Jesus Christ and in His precious name, Amen. “Your Maker is your husband, the Lord Almighty is His name. He will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit, a wife who married young, only to be rejected. With everlasting kindness He will have compassion on you. Your children will be taught by the Lord and great will be their peace.” Isaiah 54
