My daughter and I are looking for a pony for permanent or long term loan, to share. Would prefer a cob type, gelding, must be suitable for a novice ride, around 10 years old or if younger needs to be sensible. We have a stable and grazing ready, so must be able to live in with turnout available everyday. Not looking for anything larger than 14.2 but needs to be big enough to allow me to ride him (i am 54 and 10 stone at max!). We are in the Colchester area, but in the countryside. MY daughter is 8 with just over 2 years riding experience and has taken part in several small competitions being placed first and second most times. I have over 20 years experience of being around horses although did have a break whilst the children were young, for obvious reasons! If you can help, please let me know as we have just lost our pony that we had on loan. Thanks in advance.
