My daughter called me from school, fuming. A civil rights lawyer spoke at the school, and bashed cops the whole time. My daughter and her friend (whose father is an Assistant DA) almost walked out. My daughter cornered the principal afterwards. He agreed with her, then spoke to the presenter and the other teachers. Today, on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, someone told me that what I do and how I treat people matters. It just happened to be my girl, who didnt even know what day it was. Im so lucky to have such great kids.
