My daughter has a midsleeper bed with a little desk, chair, bookcase and fold-out chair/bed beneath it, and its been crying out for a curtain to enclose the space and hide it away, to make a little private den for my daughter to hide in and read her books in secret! So tonight I sat in the conservatory listening to the rain outside while I made her a brightly coloured curtain in a funky fabric, with a matching patchwork cushion cover using the remnants, which will go on her chair. I was very hasty and did it all by eye with no measuring (renegade sewing haha!) so the patchwork isnt perfect and a couple of the squares are upside down oops, but hey it was just for fun and I dont mind. I love a bit of sewing sometimes. Do you like it? :-)
