My daughter was a normal healthy teenager. She went on a mission - TopicsExpress

My daughter was a normal healthy teenager. She went on a mission trip with her church to Nicaragua in June of 2013. Before she went we had a well visit with our Primary Care Physician to make sure all shots were up to date and to see if she needed any additional immunizations before traveling out of the country. At that time she weighed 106.4 pounds. She is 5’1.5” tall. She has always been thin. She went on the trip and while there she got dehydrated and started throwing up. She also broke her foot in a freak hammock accident! (she got knocked off the hammock, and hit her foot on the corner of a tiled patio!) When she got home she continued being nauseous and throwing up. I assumed it was just the after affects of getting dehydrated and just encouraged her to try to drink more water during the day. This continued for weeks so we discussed it with the Dr when we saw him for her broke foot. He instructed us to put her on a presc. med thinking it was an acid issue and that it would pass. This continued for months. I had just started with Plexus when she got back from Nicaragua and had her try our products. She was a typical teenager and refused to drink the pink. I knew she was still having issues with nausea at times and anytime I mentioned it to our Dr. he just kept insisting it was stress, so I didn’t get overly concerned. In August she had lost some weight and was down to 101.2. After discussing it with our pharmacist one day, he informed us that you should not stay on presc. meds for an extended period. It is a blocker and blocks some nutrients from being absorbed. In January she missed her finals due to being nauseated and throwing up. I couldn’t get her in to our Primary Physician so I took her to the Urgent Care so that she would have a Dr. note so that she would be allowed to make up her finals. At that point I decided to demand a referral to a GI dr. Our 1st appointment at the GI was in February 2014. I made her start on our ProBio 5 at that time. Her weight at the 1st appt was 100.3. They ran numerous tests and took lots of blood. All tests, blood work, labs came back normal. They could find nothing wrong with her. They did stool samples, a GI series, a colonoscopy, an endoscopy all were normal. By May of 2014 she was down to 96.8 pounds and I was terrified. The Dr. prescribed some medication that was suppose to increase her appetite and wanted to put her on a high fat/high calorie diet, which goes against everything in me. She was begging to go back to Nicaragua and my initial response was NO FREAKING WAY!!! So I made a deal with her. I told her on the way home from that appointment on 5/13/2014 that if she would faithfully give me 30 days on our products then I would consider letting her go to Nicaragua. She agreed. So that day she started drinking 1 slim a day, taking 2 X-Factors every morning and 2 Pro Bio 5’s and 2 BioCleanse every night. After a couple of weeks she stopped taking the prescription meds and was only using our products. She started feeling better and started looking better. We had a follow up appt today and I am so pleased to say that she weighed in at 101.9 lbs! She has had 0 days of nausea and 0 days of the pain in her gut! This is one happy momma!!
