My daughter was quite wicked today. Normal stuff, but normal stuff is still frustrating. Because we live in an apartment I feel that I have to address (appease) her tantrums immediately. This morning I just decided not to. I worry what my neighbors will think or do (or call) because it sounded like Nusy was being killed. However, every time she was sassy today she also cleaned something. With a child that is not affected by spanking, yelling, time outs or taking away of toys it seems that penalty cleaning really shakes things up. We still managed to make a trapdoor spider and its nest plus three flying insects and collect a bunch of leaves for comparison conversations. So while my daughter was a major source of patience testing today, with only a few small exceptions I kept my wits about me and handled things the way I want to.
