My day began with a slippery step! I went to Pauls for coffee this morning..made it fine, was only vaguely aware of any ice when I saw the sun glisten on it on Pauls porch...had my coffee and started home to get ready to go to town. I really wasnt paying attention as I came down the steps....stepped on the bottom one and next thing I knew I was on the ground! My left arm hit the step and I have an ugly bruise between my wrist and elbow..but that is all I have as evidence that I even had a fall! We went to Wal Mart...I desperately needed another heater and I WANTED a new electric blanket...since the one I had would not get warm......as well as groceries....got the groceries....but they were out of the kind of heater I wanted (what they had were way out of my price range!).....and they had no TWIN electric blankets! I saw Donna Jean at the P.O. and again in Wal Mart and she told me to try Freds....so we went there (saw Donna there too!) and I found a blanket and also a heater. Not exactly what I wanted....but the price was right and I got it...so far it sure has warmed up the living room! Sassyfras has taken up permanent residence in front of it! It glows and those seem warmer!
