My day started off in mother-glamour land. :) I woke up before 5 this morning and felt pretty rested. I have tons of work to do so I laid there for a bit going back and forth about getting up to work, or trying to sleep more since I have a sinus infection. I finally just really felt like I was supposed to get up. My daughter was sleeping with me and I slipped out of bed down the hall to start my coffee and start editing photos. About 15 minutes later I hear her go into the bathroom and start crying. I go to the bathroom and I have no words for what I saw. She was covered in poop from her toes to her hair. It was unreal. I stood in shock. She was in shock. She had had explosive diarrhea in my bed while sleeping just moments after I got out of it. My bed looked like a poop bomb had gone off- my white down comforter, my white sheets, it was even on my white curtains by the bed (assuming it got there as she got out of bed) I was numb. It took me close to two hours to clean her up, my room up and start the laundry. It took me all day to get through it all. I couldnt figure out what caused it until later in the morning when I realized she had drunk almost an entire gallon of apple juice yesterday all by herself. Wow. Who says motherhood isnt an adventure!??
