My dear Ashley, just like yesterday that God blessed us with you, its already a year.............. Wow ! How time flies. You came in to this world and I am so glad because you are amazing. I am so happy I didnt have to wait one minute for you to get here. You brighten our lives sweetheart. You fill my heart with joy and excitement everytime I get to see your pretty little self smiling, with those chewable cheeks of yours. Your mummy is having trouble accepting you are no longer a baby. You have been growing so fast as you can skipping over from being a little one and going right to walking, climbing, dancing and being adventurous! I pray you ll always be this courageous and willing to take challenges. I pray that you will have the confidence you do now when you are older . I pray you climb the ladder of success like you climb the recliner now. When I look at you I can already feel there is greatness in you. You are a gift from God. Each time I cuddle you I marvel at your soft eyelashes that have gotten so beautifully longer. I held your soft hands and felt some sadness that my girl who used to fit so perfectly under my chin on my chest now stretches past both elbows. Everyone told me it would go fast , but when you have the most wonderful baby , youd just want to slow time down . Each time I kiss your sweet head and put you to bed as you hold your blankie , before I know you will be holding our car keys , then I degree, a wedding bouquet and your babys hands. I cant wait to see the amazing woman youll become but promise me you ll stay little....... A little longer just for me ...........wink.......... I pray I can be a good role model for you. I pray you find a wonderful person to share your life with , who will cherish you for your brains, beauty and most of all your heart . I hope you ll see the love I have for your daddy, you and your siblings. I pray someday when you are looking at me with eyes filled with teenage angst that you ll somehow find a way to see I am trying to protect my gift from God. Know that we thank God for you always. We ask God to keep you safe, healthy and happy. I cant wait to discover yours personality even more . You are already bubbly fun and caring. My mummys heart melt each time your little hands pat my shoulder when we hug. Believe me, that its worth every hour of lost of sleep my sweet angel. As you walk through this life, I want you to know that the energy you put out into this world is the energy you will get back. I know you will shine and others will want to to be close to you . You are the source of our joy . People throw rocks at things that shine, if that happens just smile and leave. I hope you learn early not to spend your precious energy on toxic people and I hope I can help you learn not to operate on guilt. Uncover what brings you happiness go for it. God has blessed us with a wonderful family you are one of the reasons there is so much laughter and joy. In this home you will never be short on love, Ashley love. Thank you for all those quiet time , when I hold you close and feel complete. Thank you for the sweet breathe I ve listened so closely at night .
