My dear Facebook friends - it has been a wonderful journey to interact with you all since I started using Facebook sometime in April 2011. I met many new people and also reconnected with those who I thought I would never again find in my lifetime. Thank you Mark Zukerberg for this. Facebook is a great place to socialise and to express opinion, debate and perhaps even have some fun. I was mostly using FaceBook to express what I think is righteous, worthy & honourable pursuit. However, this engagement has come for me at a huge cost of my time and commitment. This cost becomes even more onerous to bear when there is little or no engagement either because there is nothing new to tell or expressions are becoming increasingly opinionated or merely because FaceBook has decided to use technology to its advantage and live off our engagement. Thus it is that time when you want to step back and disengage from something that has begun to consume you. So goodbye my FaceBook friends. Stay good and stay connected.
