My dear Scarlet, aka Prissy Paws, passed away late Friday night :( She would have been 17 in December and has been with me through 3 moves, a marriage separation, countless fosters and more. She was a Valentine Days gift to me from my wonderful husband, Charles. He adopted her from the The Humane Society of Bay County way back in 1998 - the only thing her cage card said was Smells like fish. I named her Scarlet because she had a long scarlet stripe of fur going down her otherwise tabbyish colored back. But it soon became apparent that she was a prissy little kitten and she became Prissy Paws to all who knew and loved her - especially Jennifer, who she used to snuggle with when Jen came to stay. I miss you already Priss, Rest in Peace - you deserve peace and quiet after putting all those pesky fosters into their place!
