My dear beloved pet, I cherish the memories, even the trips to the vet, You taught me pure unconditional love, No need for money for in my face to shove, I look at the void you left in all the places you slept, Your cat litter I changed and the mess around I swept, It seems as though the time dashed on by, Boy when I lost you did I cry, I took you in as my lad, You took me in as your Dad, I appreciate the times we had for those I am glad, The fact you are no longer with me makes me oh so sad, But Ill never forget you for youll always be in my heart, You were a clever cat, you were so very smart, For now I say farewell and carry on in my endeavor, We shared a moment cemented in history forever.
