My dear brethren, today is 18th Sunday in the ordinary time in Churchs Calender in year A and also, 1st Sunday of August 2014 .God called us who are thirsts, that we should come to Him and have a good and rich food, wine and milk for enrichment of our body and soul.We should not spending money on things which does not satisfy the soul and body.Thous says the LORD in Isaiah 55:1-3 Ho, every one that thirsty, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfied not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Our God is full of mercies, compassionate and love, that is why God says in Psalm 145:8-9,15-16,17.The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou gives them their meat in due season.Thou openest thine hand, and satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. My dearest friends in Christ,God is love, compassionate and mercy,we should not allow anything to separate us from this love of God. Even tribulation,or distress, persecution,or famine, sword even parents and siblings, those things should not separate: the word of God says in the letter of Paul to the Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Dear love ones, our Lord Jesus Christ feed us with everlasting compassion of love, with His healing of our sickness of sin by His word, nourishing us with His bread of life and fish for our richness of body and soul.Gospel Mathew 14:13-21 tell us,When Jesus heard of the death of John the Baptist, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities. And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to me.And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children. Brethren, as we mediate on this word of God,let us pray together for Gods help,O God of compassion, love and mercies, kindly come to our assistance;O LORD ,make haste to help us;You are our rescuer, our help;O LORD ,do not delay in Jesus name Amen
