My dear brothers and sisters. I have a serious question for our tribe. Does not the spirit of friendship and warmth extend to the gentle (or maybe not so gentle) correction of each other? I know that my closest friends, closer even than family, are those that will poke holes in my BS. When Im down they are there. When Im wrong they hold me accountable. Perhaps that is what I hold most sacred about scouting. The role of a true friend and brother to share your walk in life. I would ask our honored moderator john peter to allow fervent and perhaps less than polite discussion on this. Do we owe into each other to hold one another to the standards and traditions of the tribe, or do we roll over to political correctness? If you stand for nothing you will fall for anything. Eventually you are left with nothing.
