My dear brothers and siters. read the letter about resolution of 2nd august empowering the TADA village branch and the authority of the TADA-NAT executive using power to gain compliance, some elites not willing to send their moneys because they work hard to obtain the moneys and that we need to give a better explanation as to what we need to use this money and also a time frame for elite to raise the money. moreover, the birth right of a Tali child cannot be taken away from him. my remark from Mr agbor Henry Baiye reply is that it is exactly one year that we start our village development association, September 2013 till date. since then we have been having meetings and explaining the objectives of us joining together, pull out few francs together and help develop our village and same time help our poor paren Dear TADA-TALI 1 Branch, I had a telephone conversation with your President Retired Pastor Betang who is presently in Buea. From our discussion he indicated that he might be back to the village by October or November depending on the state of the road. During our discussion we agreed to nominate Mrs Alice Batuo as the Vice President of your chapter till the return of your President. From the moment you read this letter Mrs Alice Batuo will join your executive in running and coordinating your activities. Brothers, sister and parents please admit her and provide her the cooperation for the success of your branch. To be sincere to you all, I will like to inform you in the village that TADA- Tali-1 Branch is very instrumental for the achievement of the developmental projects we do envisage. Also I want to let you know that the first beneficial of our fight for development is you the village dwellers. I had a phone call from Cameroon informing me of your action in the recent burial at Mpomba Quarter. That was positive action. For that action I do say that you because the information has circulated in the entire country and the elites in town are willing to pay their dues which will enable us to construct our village and uplift the poor image and insults in the nearest future. This is the only method that that we can raise money from stubborn and greedy elites who do not wantTali-1to develop. At the moment we have an estimated 20 million francs CFA to rework the town hall. So the participation of all the Tali-1 sons, daughters and parents is imperatively needed somehow (materially or financially). After the completion of the town hall we have plans to renovate the health center and rebuild more structures behind the present maternity for hospitalization of patients, pharmacy for medication, operation block and doctors’ offices for consultation. You therefore see that we have an immense task ahead of us. Little by little and by working together and paying our dues and I do assure you that we shall succeed. TADA-NAT demands that we all participate in our village development but do not wish that our members should die and we do not give the corpse a good and respectful burial by getting into quarrel with the family because they deny to pay the village development. However, default families have to be disciplined as per our resolution of 2nd August 2014. TADA-NAT do express it condolence to the family of Ta Ben and Pa Atem for the death of Ta Ben and Pa Atems wife. These corpses will be carried home for burial. At the moment these families have been informed about the resolution of 2nd August 2014 (for burial and funeral ceremonies). If they do not respect the resolution you will be informed by TADA-Nat executive to react accordingly. No compromise for this is the only way forward for us to raise money and transform our village into a city. It is no more the moment to sit and fold our hands and wait for the government to construct our village for us. We are matured and strong enough and well capable to do it ourselves, otherwise one day we shall ask the same government to put food into our mouths. For your reminder about the resolution of 2nd August 2014: 1). No removal of corpse from the car upon arrival to the village 2) No digging of the grave of the dead person by the grave diggers no matter the gifts. 3) No burial rite assisted by son or daughter of Tali-1 clan, the chief, Quarter Heads, Councilors. PLEASE do not be afraid an give preferential treatment to any person even if the corpse is relative to me TADA-NAT president house or family. The Resolution binds everybody of TADA. TADA-NAT is a Legalized Association and known by the Government. TADA-NAT Executive is strong behind you and is prepared to defend you at all moment. What I need to remind you is simply that justice must prevail equally in every house without exception to avoid confusion tomorrow. Enclosed in this envelope is amount of 61 000F sent by TADA-NAT. 50 000F to enable you open TADA-Tali-1 Branch account in the Post Office immediately. The account should be open with the signatures of your vice president, Financial Secretary and Treasurer. The moneys you will collect from TADA-NAT defaulters in the village and TADA-Tali-1 branch levy should be paid into this account. The minutes of your meetings and financial records should be properly kept by your executive board. 11 000F will be used to buy some drinks the day that you invite the village community to read this letter to their hearing. We intend to start work in the town hall by October/ November so plan ahead for the supply of sand and gravel for this project. If you have not yet scheduled a date for keep TALI-1 CLEAN, I will propose the 1st Wednesday of every month from 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon beginning September 3rd. Note that during this day all men and women take part in this activity and nobody goes to the farm. Normal and personal activities resume from 12:00. I will also want to say the men clear the streets while women clean the grass around the compounds. Any way you can plan as you want. Doing so you will realize that our village will be neat at all moments showing some level of civilization. TADA-TALI-1, you are EMPOWERED. So Action.
