My dear friend and long time muse Kami Liddle has a dance company and her man Jason Vanderford has a band. When the two came together and joined forces it was MAGICAL. To see the joy and inspiration on Kamis face as she shared her ideas about the collaboration and how perfect it felt, well, I knew I had to support her and the other 8 artists in this kickstarter. As a rabid fan of Gold Star Dance Company I wanted to donate something to this Kickstarter that felt akin to their aesthetic, something gold, something richly textured, and something very pretty :) I decided on an Old Gold base with mixed metal, vintage coins from around the world, swarovski rhinestones, and tiny sparkly faceted beading detail with a tinkling tribal chain along the bottom.
