My dear friends - What an event-full couple of weeks it has been! Its nice to be able to sit for a few moments and update you as to what has been happening so far in August. I was blessed to spend the better part of a week in Superior, Wisconsin and Duluth, Minnesota with many friends representing a number of awesome ministries there in the Twin Ports. I was invited to speak during the 9th Annual LakeFest Music Festival right on the banks of Lake Superior. This event attracts many hundreds of people to this all-day event where there is non-stop Christian music, testimonies and of course the preaching of the GOOD NEWS! During my stay in the Twin Ports it was also great to do some street ministry with the local folks and to have the privilege of speaking to the men in the Teen Challenge program. I was only back a few days from the North when I had to head back out to the far South Eastern U.S. to join my friend (Ivan Itzkowitz) of Walk for Christ Ministries. He was the host of the 5th Annual Leave No Man Behind Conference & Retreat at Lake Okeechobee, Florida. I was blessed to be a part of this and speak to a great group of men that included pastors, evangelists, youth, music and outreach ministers. Now... I am back in the saddle here in New Orleans preparing for our upcoming Southern Decadence Outreach (8/27 - 9/1). This is billed as the Gay Mardi Gras and the name certainly speaks for itself. While the debauchery is obvious - the Lord Jesus always graces and empowers us during this time where we see many lives impacted through the testimony of the Cross of Calvary! In a few months (10/31 - 11/7) we will be hosting our first annual Priority One Conference on New Testament Christianity. This week long outreach and discipleship conference will involve both an equipping and an opportunity time for those in attendance. I have been blessed to have some awesome men and women of God agree to come from across the US to invest into the lives of others desiring to go deeper into the things of God (You should come!) As always . . . we continue our work here in New Orleans: preaching the Gospel on the Streets of the French Quarter and Neighborhoods, teaching, preaching and discipling people for the Kingdom. Your prayers and generosity make a great impact on our lives and this ministry and enable us to continue to go forward boldly in the Word and Work that He has entrusted us with.
