My dear old friend Chad McNeely nominated me to post five of my favorite songs over five days. Thanks again Chad for the fun homework assignment. Here it is my day 5: I could not do a list of five favorite songs over 5 days and not give a nod to the early 90s RAVE culture I knew and loved so much. My old friend Ed had a great idea to start throwing parties where everyone was welcome. His events brought all walks of life together and nobody cared if you were gay, strait, white, black, college jock, soldier, punk, drag queen or raver. He created a society, for a time, that all of the misfits seems to fit together. The events were called Unity for good reason. This song was kind of the unofficial theme to his early parties and still brings me fond memories of my long lost friend. It is my turn to nominate someone to continue this little game.
