My dear sister had an awful time today. She is an avid animal lover as all of you know I am. She adopted an older dog a couple years ago that had become homeless because of the passing of the dogs owners. THe dog is adorable. She recently adopted a new puppy, golden retriever I think. She was out for a walk with her 1 year old granddaughter/stroller and the two dogs when the older little dog Honey Bear drops dead!! She was trying to get to the poor dog while in shock--other dog pulling at the stroller and baby almost falling!!! Neighbor jumps in to help. Laney, my sister grabs the little dog and does mouth to mouth to try to revive her. It was not working finally she just held on cradling the little doggy and she began breathing. Just awful awful situation!!! Thank goodness the neighbor was helping with the baby and the other dog. She found out the little dog has an enlarged heart and had an EKG, xray blood work and has to have an ultrasound as well. The little dog is on meds and being managed but what a terrible day!! I just cannot imagine!! So sorry dear sister.Laney Vallancey that you had to go through all of that. I know how much you love your Honey Bear! Asking for prayers for my sisters beloved dog Honey Bear! Thank you all!
