My dear sweet brother Shawn Frederick passed on today. The most amazing man I ever knew. There has never been a man that ever gave more, helped more or made a bigger impact on his fellow men and women then he did. He never asked anything in return. He has always been the person I always wanted to be. I will never be the man he is and was. He used to send me letters from Viet Nam about the horrors of that war. He was in the worst of all of it. His compassion and heart for the world was enormous. Even after the terrible and traumatic injuries he sustained as a result his time there, he found a place in his life to help his brothers and sisters who witnessed and suffered the terrible results of war. He built his life around it. He was my rock, my role model my dear sweet brother. Thank you Shawn for giving me a life. I will always love you.
