My dearest Running Friends, During this joyous season it saddens me to pass on this news as weve watched the family suffer the last few weeks in anticipation of what was coming. Although we may have never known Rosemarie Brown, we know her family all to well since we have run with almost all of them throughout the last year and a half and gotten to know the family as one of our own. She was the mother of our Running Friends, Marlene Brown and Susan Brown Shaner, the grandmother of Kerri Ann, Kelli Watson, Ken and Michael McFerron, the grandmother in-law of Steph Mcferron, Mariah McFerron, Jay Kane and John Watson and the great-grandmother to Kenny, Anna, Cal, Brady, Mackenzie, JJ, Kaelyn, Eve and Lucy. There are no words to truly express ourselves during times like this, we can only hope that the memories they have will sustain them through the difficult task that lay before them of saying goodbye. Good speed to you Rosemarie Brown and thank you so much for sharing your loving family with us! Please know that you are ALL in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Rosemarie Brown Age 88, of Scott Twp., formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away on December 23, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Clyde H. Brown, Jr. Loving mother of Clyde (Linda) Brown of Ellicot City, MD, Marlene Brown of Scott Twp., and Susan (Dan) Shaner of Baldwin. Grandmother of Ken McFerron, Michael McFerron, Kelli Watson, Kerri Kane, Jamiee DeSimone, Danielle Utzig, and Jason Brown. Also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine Ramondino and Dorothy Conway. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 4 p.m. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Celtic Healthcare, 150 Scharberry Lane, Mars, PA 16046.
