My dearest Sisters and Brothers, Our Holy Days are a reminder of our Fathers great love for us. A love so great because He chose to offer His only Son as a sacrifice to save us from eternal death. We celebrate that gift every year at this time, however it is a gift that we receive every day of our earthly life. A beautiful example of that gift of life came to me on Nov. 1st when I had my heart attack. I could have ignored it because it was not the classic left arm pain. However the Holy Spirit kept suggesting that I go to Valley Hospital to be examined. On the 7th of November God directed the surgeon as he repaired my heart with four by-passes. From the 1st of November till today I have experienced Gods continuous love through all of your prayers, Mass offerings, get well cards and visits from all of you. As we celebrate the anniversary of His birth, may Jesus bless all of you and all those you love the way He has blessed me. in His Name, Joe
