My dearest family and friends, I have not sent Christmas cards this year. Instead I am making a donation to the Lingen Davies Cancer Relief Fund. The Lingen Davies Centre at RSH houses the consulting rooms for the oncologists, the radiotherapy department and the chemo day centre. Other than my surgeries, all of my treatment over the last three years has been in the Lingen Davies Centre. It is the staff in its various departments who have kept me alive so far and who will continue to try to do so. The LG Cancer Relief Fund uses donations to provide equipment and support to the Centre. These are my Christmas wishes for all of you: May you all have a joyous and peaceful holiday season. May Santa bring you all for which you wish. May your tummies be full and your hangovers non-existent. I love you all. xxxxx
