My devotional for tonight. Gods goal is that we move toward maturity --all our past failures and faults and hang-ups notwithstanding. Gods specialty is bringing renewal to our strength, not reminders of our weakness. Take it by faith. He just sovereignly chooses not to stop there. They become the platform upon which He does His best work. Cheer up! There is great hope. Be specific in your prayer life. If you need a job, pray for a job. If youre an engineer, ask God to open up an engineering position for you, or something related for which you are qualified...If you need fifteen hundred dollars for tuition, ask for that amount. Make your petitions specific. In other words it means if we dont ask for a specific thing how can we prove to the lost world that our prayers were answered by faith and not by chance. If we claim it by faith then it happens it shows the world that God does hear our prayers and takes care of His children. If God still says NO or your prayer isnt answered its only because He has something better for you. So keep the faith and remember this. God promised us a safe landing on the other side He didnt say it would be a smooth ride, its through the rough waters that He shows us His love by keeping us safe.
