My devotional this morning. It feels so good to be able to realize yesterday I cant do anything about. But today and tomorrow its up to me to make it the best. Thank You God for hearing my prayers and opening my eyes. Angie Nash He makes all things new! “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 Three key places in Scripture, God expresses His will to make all things new in our lives: in Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing”, in Revelation 21:5 “Behold, I make all things new” and 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” In each instance, God says Behold! Look! See! Lo! If you are looking behind you for the new thing God has for you to receive you won’t find it. If you are looking for Him in the old familiar place, you won’t find Him. If you are bogged down with what you did, what someone said, or what someone put you through, you won’t be able to look and see the new thing. God is trying to bless you with a new life in Christ, a new place of victory, new opportunities, new relationships, something so amazing that it will put the old to shame! Lift up your eyes and see the goodness of Your God. See how He makes all things new for you because He truly loves you! Prayer: Father God, thank You for making all things new in my life. Help me forget the old and embrace the new. Thank You for doing only what You can do. In Jesus name, Amen.
