My devotions recently (Borrowed) The sluggard says, “There’s a lion outside! I’ll be killed in the public square!” (Proverbs 22:13 NIV) I will be killed outside! so what? All people eventually die anyway! Its even possible to die without going outside. You can die of starvation while you are safely indoors. Laziness can always be explained away, there are always circumstantial reasons to keep us within cocoons and far from conquest. Life is full of lions outside. Refuse to be intimidated by these overgrown cats. Learn the lions patterns, avoid them, trap them, kill them,...... but dont stay in the safety zones. We were made to soar. Laziness is the perfect environment to conjure up reasons why stuff cant be done. Conquer laziness by developing and implementing a strategy for life outside the safe zone. Every year plan another ambitious step into the Korea-like DMZ & beyond. Its a mine field but with hard work its a cat walk. All puns intended Interrogate your excuses!
