My devotions this morning actually started last night. Yesterday - TopicsExpress

My devotions this morning actually started last night. Yesterday evening I shared this video and referenced Matthew 10:29 and Psalm 50:10-11. If you havent watched this video please do! This mother duck is fearless! But it also made me think about the message of trust this video conveys. The mother duck leading her babies across a busy highway and the babes trusting in her completely to guide them safely across as they encounter one hazard after another; almost being ran over, being blown about by the wind of the cars passing. They trusted her and stayed right with her. It occurred to me that our lives are very much like those little ducklings crossing hat highway. Every day we face trials and adversity of some kind or another. Sometimes we dont know which way to turn; things can look hopeless. But Christ is our hope. Just like the trust those baby ducks had in their mother, put your hope and your trust in Christ. He will guide you to safety. Seek Him and put your trust in Him. This does not mean you will never have heartache, or tragedy, or pain, or disappointment in your life. It does mean that the Lord will be there, by your side, through everything to lift you up, to strengthen you, to comfort you, and to guide you through the storms of life. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you (Psalm 9:10) Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid (Isaiah 12:2) You will seek me and find me. When you seek me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him (2 Chronicles 16:9) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28) Please watch the video below. There but for the grace of God... Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. Matthew 10:29 For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine Psalm 50:10-11
