My doctor is taking me off the blood thinner and putting me on a baby aspirin for now.. why ? Because based on the scoring system they use when prescribing a blood thinner and based on my score I currently only need a baby aspirin. He doesnt think my current anti depressant is good for anxiety so he may change my meds later. He is referring me for cardiology testing for a 30 day heart event test..he is giving me a referral for a mammogram and bone density test..echo and lab work..he did an ekg in his office today and he said my QT wave was okay..and the ekg showed sinus rhythm and no indication of a fib today..he is an internist with an interest in cardiology which is good..his goal is to get my blood pressure down and Off the bp meds.. yep. I made a good choice for a doctor..
