My dream before I had a child was to read all the Harry Potter books to my child. So when Clay came of age, I couldnt wait to start! Except she had no interest. I was devastated. A year later, she came around, and our Harry Potter journey began. The rule I set was no watching the movies until the book has been completed. It made her love and appreciate books so much more. I have loved reading them to her. I even tried to get her to read them herself, and she insisted it was an us thing. And now after reading 6 of the 7 books, and after saving money for almost 2 years, we will be going to Universal Studios The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Clay has been doing tons of chores, and has earned 5000 stars, the requirement for getting to go, along with reading all 7 books. This is huge, its so big, and has been our dream for nearly 2 years! We leave for Orlando in 10 days. I am beyond excited and already teary eyed writing this. Dreams come true.
