My drivers door has stopped unlocking with a double pull of the - TopicsExpress

My drivers door has stopped unlocking with a double pull of the handle. Itll open if its not locked, but if it is locked then I have to press the button to unlock it first. Any ideas? Im assuming Ill have to replace the whole lock module, which is difficult to get at. Its annoying because it means Im afraid to use the auto-lock on pull away feature in case the electronics dont work in an accident/fire.
