My earlier rant on social welfare is reaching 300 comments and sparked a lot of good debate. Heres a follow-up question for you all and I would love to hear your answers and thoughts. Is wealth redistribution not socialism if the recipient actually needs taxpayer money and wont abuse the system? Put another way, is wealth redistribution only socialism if the recipient doesnt actually need taxpayer money and abuses the system?
