My eldest brother, Sonny, took his last breathe yesterday afternoon at 5:12. This chapter of his life on this earth has ended and he has begun a brand new life in heaven with Jesus, the Savior he would sing about and adored. I know that as Sonny was ushered into heaven, he saw our mother and daddy, our grandparents and all of those that have gone before us!! What a joyous celebration that must have been!! Sonny, I will miss you terribly!! There is now a part of my heart that is crying out continuously for the arms of my brother to be wrapped around me and telling me that everything is gonna be alright!! You see, I am not sure that all know this but when my daddy passed from this life at the young age of 51, my brother, Sonny, stepped up into our daddys shoes and became my daddy!! That is more the reason that we were so very close!! He was my brother, my best friend, my second daddy but he will always be my HERO!!!! I will always miss him but would never wish him back on this earth to suffer like he did, but knowing that my brother is in the arms of Jesus is the comfort and the strength that I draw from!! I love you Sonny, you are always and forever in my heart!!!!!!!
