My esteemed, recently-departed relative Chuck Stone didnt believe in the concept of white backlash, calling it just plain-old white hatred. Nevertheless, if he were alive & (literally) kicking right now, even he would be shouting out the points enumerated in this talk-worthy piece, which identifies the Elephant thats been in Our Room ever since, say, November, 2008. Or whenever some pale reactionary finds a pale excuse to defecate all over the fact that somebody like Neil deGrasse Tyson even exists.
